Looking at the low miles on the ones on here, looks like they were purchased for flipping,..Hardly surprising very few actual owner user.. cars for sale......
Mine was never driven by the first owner who sold it back to OPC at cost, I bought it to keep it, but it was never going to get me out of bed so I sold it, and ditto the guy I sold it to who has put it up for sale again. He's not the flipping type so I can only assume it wasn't good enough. And that's probably the lowest miles CS car out there and not a speculator in sight.

More 991GT3RS will be available than expected - not just '918 customers and a similar number to 997GT3RS4.0' that was rumoured on PH.
No doubt many of these additional RS customers will have GT3s that need outing in the meantime, you'd be crazy to miss an opportunity to make £50k over list in the next couple of months.
Even if you haven't got an RS coming, £50k tax free profit is difficult to ignore on a £110k car.
Oh, and I think the penny has dropped that there weren't 132 991 GT3s - nearer 232.
I asked my dealer about the rs the other day,he said they were getting 'usual allocation (4)' plus 2 for their 918 customers so the number being allocated is what they would normally allocate, the 918 customers are not eating into the supply as their cars are additional .No doubt many of these additional RS customers will have GT3s that need outing in the meantime, you'd be crazy to miss an opportunity to make £50k over list in the next couple of months.

Looking like it's no more limited than any other GT3 RS that has preceded it. 430scuderia1 said:
has anyone tried to get finance on a 150k gt3 with a 10% deposit???
Thats the question i have...
Well OPC Reading have one for sale - was in there today - up for £159K - I can't remember the deposit - but monthly repayments were £2499PCM for 36Months.Thats the question i have...
I was surprised to see it there tbh - but then seeing this thread bears out what is happening....
Glut of 991 GT3's all chasing that premium which we've been let to believe exists.
I'd imagine their will be a few people sitting on that 'investment' and getting cold feet.
Threads like this highlight a trend. Don't be surprised if we see a drop as people look to offload them.
Another sign we're past breaking point.

Now is the time to buy - in a couple of months they will all be gone as these are mostly swap outs for RS allocations I imagine - I would then think a few will pop on as RS's are delivered and then that will be it - back to the odd random one here and there - FWIW , they really are an awesome bit of kit , worth every penny

I guess you're right , but I think what's happening now is this : if you know that have an RS coming some people will "cash in" while GT3 prices are strong - I still honestly believe even at current prices they are good value when compared to the alternatives. All I know is if I got an RS allocation and I had the money and space to keep the GT3 I would without question , as I think the end use is marginally different - one for every day and one for Sunday best I love my GT3 , think I'd be sad to let it go if I got an RS allocation as I drive it whenever I want : to work , to the shops , Sunday burn - the RS would just be for the latter Edited by RSVP911 on Sunday 29th March 22:06

I think it's a number of reasons.
- the 991 RS is arriving
- looks like higher numbers of the 991 RS than some originally made out
- prices of Pork generally look to have plateaued
- it may not be the last of the NA GT3s
- rumours of Gen 2s coming
- rumours of a manual version
- the RS and possibly future GT3s not using the same engine as the 991, so it won't be remembered and loved
- it's not a drivers' car in the same way previous GT3s were
All IM vv HO of course.
That makes a lot of sense. Even the most ardent 991 GT3 fans who love PDK will jettison their cars at current prices if prices start to drop £5k a month, every month.- the 991 RS is arriving

They would probably not have if prices had not been massaged upwards with talk of only 132 cars, last na, only a handful 991 RS outside the 918 group etc etc. The smart people are bailing out at these heady levels - strong hands transferring to weak hands, like every other market.

If I'd bought one new and thought I could achieve £150k for it today then I'd have it in the classifieds too. Make hay while the sun shines!
And replace it with what?Mermaid said:

Trust me on this M, a lot of the above is wide of the mark, it all ready a known that its 2k RS, for the planet, take out the 918 lot, look at what's left, build in RHD its even less......do the maths,They would probably not have if prices had not been massaged upwards with talk of only 132 cars, last na, only a handful 991 RS outside the 918 group etc etc. The smart people are bailing out at these heady levels - strong hands transferring to weak hands, like every other market.
There can be many reasons why cars are for sale, I am selling my RHD one soon, don't need it with RS and other stuff..

With respect Apollo, you've always made out you have the inside story on all thing Pork, when in fact you have no more facts than anyone else. We can all guess a number. And guess what, there won't be enough RS' to satisfy demand - no st Sherlock....There can be many reasons why cars are for sale, I am selling my RHD one soon, don't need it with RS and other stuff..
I doubt you of all people, a part time dealer perhaps? would not bail out of a car if you thought it would continue rising in price. The GT3 is potentially on the cusp of a (probably small) correction, perhaps with a lot of other Porsches.

Can't see prices falling - can't get an RS ? No problem , get a GT3 instead I doubt you of all people, a part time dealer perhaps? would not bail out of a car if you thought it would continue rising in price.
