Porsche's analysis shows the GT4 as being a harder car to live with than GT3. Guess this is compliancy from PASM? GT4 is point and shoot cheap fun car. GT3 does both that and distance cruiser. Amazing breadth of capability IMO.

It's as much to do with the lack of front-lift as an option as the stiffness.

GT4 likely to track GT3 premium wise, especially with its limited run too cheap under pricing and perceived brilliance according to the mags in the know biggrin:

Car is not more focused than 991 GT3...why would it be......Carrera S 'non motorsport' engine, brakes and GT3 front suspension......could be used as a daily quite easily.
Don't agree GT4 wil track GT3. Not that it shouldn't on ability or capability, but that it's just not as "collectable" as a 911 GT car.

Whether the GT4 changes that perception we shall see, but at the moment it just lacks the 911 badge (to mirror the residuals).

I honestly believe that residuals aren't based heavily on ability, but on desirability which can be broken down by supply/demand, looks, ownership proposition, etc. Plenty of cars that aren't great to drive are worth loads only due to their rarity/heritage/percieved desirability! Cayman hasn't quite cracked that side yet, but will do in time... hopefully anyway.
