With respect Apollo, you've always made out you have the inside story on all thing Pork, when in fact you have no more facts than anyone else. We can all guess a number. And guess what, there won't be enough RS' to satisfy demand - no st Sherlock....
I doubt you of all people, a part time dealer perhaps? would not bail out of a car if you thought it would continue rising in price. The GT3 is potentially on the cusp of a (probably small) correction, perhaps with a lot of other Porsches.
at this stage in time happy to admit I have the same info on the nos as any OPC, which is zero.....other than the indicted nos..I doubt you of all people, a part time dealer perhaps? would not bail out of a car if you thought it would continue rising in price. the 2k, is not my no, its already a known...like the 918 situation, so in my maths that's what just under 1100, RHD not many from this...
As for NAs Gen 2S.....Know most of that., agree that the GT3 has gotten ahead of its self, would have expected to see 170s around track day time.
Like you, with your GT3, I trade in and out of cars at times...

Can't see prices falling - can't get an RS ? No problem , get a GT3 instead
it has gone a bit to high very fast imv, but when you take into account the very low miles on cars that are what 6 months plus of age, don't see to many actually "used" cars for sale......Once the exact nos on the RS are confirmed , will be interesting to see if this has any effect of take up..

I don't think RS numbers will impact values much unless they are outside of 75 to 125 cars. More downside risk than upside I think, but other factors weigh heavier I think. Once the exact nos on the RS are confirmed , will be interesting to see if this has any effect of take up..

lets not forget that the GT3 is not the new kid on the block its been out 18 months now, entitled to take a breather from a price point..think it will tread water from a price point, until the "actual" RS nos are known..
If the RS price does hit high's, then this will push the GT3 higher, but some of this may already be factored in....
Who knows....

What price band do people on here reckon the 991RS will hit after the first few cars get delivered? A new UK decent spec is circa £150k new from OPC and with 991GT3CS around £170k now are we thinking £200-£250k or maybe even higher?think it will tread water from a price point, until the "actual" RS nos are known..

I would have thought you would have to pay more than £200k to get into a new GT3 RS soon after launch.Dave Sums said:

I think they will be higher than you describe , hence GT3 values currently RSVP911 said:

and me much higher, would not be surprised if it tracks the 4s from a price point, actually taking into account that's these cars are going to the right people, would not expect to see many, if any on the 2nd market..APOLO1 said:

heh.. are they all really going to the right people? Would not be surprised to see the usual suspects like Romans/Hartley having cars show up very very shortly after delivery.APOLO1 said:

Can't agree with much of that. Pushing £400k? Seriously? There are other ways to spend your money on cars out there other than the 991.1 GT3 and 991.1 GT3 RS. What do you mean by the right people? I bet some of these "right people" have sold on their allocations already for a nice profit, which is fair enough if you got one and someone wants to pay for it.DT398 said:

The 918 cost £870kBecause you buy one you can get a GT4, do it and make a £30k profit
You also get the option to buy a 991 GT3 RS, do it and make £60k
The 'right people' will be looked after by Porsche

small correction - the 918 at the most expensive was €850k (well without the silly addons like liquid paint and heritage leather).... not small change but rather different from £870k!Because you buy one you can get a GT4, do it and make a £30k profit

Is it true that the liquid paint option is 5 figures?
