Helmsley TT !

Or Helmsley back road to York
Is that the B1363 or the B1257?

I'm a big fan of the Stamford Bridge to Whitby run via Malton. Bumpy in places but good, well sighted sweeping curves! ;-)

Helmsley TT is the B1257. 3 miles from my house. Great road but do not do it at weekends when it is full of bikes and police cars. Early morning or late afternoon is not so bad, but weekdays are better. Then up through Kildale to Blakey ridge (Lion inn does goodish food) and play between there and Hutton Le hole. Should then consider back across the A1 to Richmond and South through the dales.

Beautiful car. I hope you have a great time.

Might want to get it detailed before it is wrapped. I spoke to Supercar Detailing who just had a blue one in and he was under the impression that all panels are painted individually and described it shocking for what these things cost.

Congrats on the purchase!

congrats mhh , can I just ask how come you did not order one from launch ? its just the dealer you bought from has a rep. for taking advantage of cash rich - time poor people !
njoy the car
Fair question. I wasn't in the market when the car was launched. I don't feel taken advantage of - it's my own silly fault for not moving sooner. I justify the squandering of cash by reminding myself it is still cheaper than a P1. wink
I like your style-
I spent a fortune on a Rolex Day Date 2 on the pretext it was half the price of a gold Patek Nautilus and thus
a bargain!

I'm not sure anyone's ever been forced into buying a 918...

Congrats OP - the silver looks stunning and would definitely be the colour I would go for.

I have a friend with a black one which is also very nice...you aren't going to be disappointed with the performance...just be careful out in Wales as the police are not very lenient!

basically these type of places see plp with money and say we can charge what we like and they will pay . at least a Porsche dealer has to invest large somes of money in their business , which justifies profits they make.

Business wants to make money, people are willing to pay, I don't see the issue. Why do you have such an objection, is it jealousy?

SCOM is a broker. They din't pay list for the car. So they make as big a margin as they can while still providing good customer service. Isn't this what all of us who work in the free market try to do?

I run this analogy against what I hear politicians say during the election campaign, especially in the debates, and I wonder what planet most of them live on.
