Nice 918 at OPC Colchester, liquid silver...

Covered ready for the owner to pick it up. Wasn't able to see the car (covered) but I expect it looks amazing...

Great cars in flesh even better , maybe a RHD for a Mil with built in UK premium would have been ideal....next time Porshce do the research..

Congratulations OP for getting one. After seeing Radders having a blast in his new one round Oulton Park I fully agree that they are a magnificent sight. smile

You have to hand it to the Malton guys for realizing early on that the 918 is a special car that would be very much in demand and for ignoring the naysayers that predicted Porsche were making too many compared to the P1 and LaF.

Bloody Nora, I live less than fifty feet from where that's parked near the Feathers and I missed it. Drat.

Notice how the road surface changes in the second picture? That's where the council boundaries switch, one with slightly more money than t'other.

You wont get parked, it's market day y'know. Have you partaken in the Helmsley TT? Splendid, is it not?

I reckon South to York via Oswaldkirk is it, to be better (less busy)

Both are great however
I think of the road to York to be more of a narrow back road, suitable for hot hatches and Caterham types. And the number of villages between Oswaldkirk and York break up the flow. But still, a jolly good time can be had if you get a clear run.

Another plus for the Helmsley TT is the scenery to take in if you do get stuck behind a Doris.
