There doesn't seem to be a definitive thread on production numbers of Porsche RS, GT3, GT4, Spyder, 959, 918 and Carrera GT so I've pulled stats from elsewhere into the list below.

Please comment if you believe figures need amending/updating (at this point many are still TBC).

Great thread, probably a good idea to make it a sticky wink

From memory:

997.1 GT3 RS - 2000 WW, TBC RHD, (123 UK RHD)

should be 1909 total not 2000 WW

997GT2

WW production was 1261 units (info direct from Porsche AG- I have the email)

C16 UK 34 units 2008
28 units 2009 PCM 3
1X 2008 written off so 61 units left

Isn't this for race derived motored GTs should the 991 model A91s be even in this table ?

OP, not to be pendant but should note that the 2009 997GT2 models should maybe be referred to as PCM3 since many of them were 2008 58 plates as the '09 model year manufacture started after the summer break as is normal for Porsche.

Bit right at the end seems to suggest 2000 991 RS to be produced, end of production early next year.

Thanks, I think most of the current GT3 cars have been max 2000, just depends if the limit is reached!

I actually contacted Porsches research team to get a figure of 2010 and 2011 cars produced and they did get back to me.
I'll see if I can find the exact figures but off the top off my head I believe there were around 110 RHD 2010 cars and 20 RHD 2011 cars.

Edited with info as supplied by Porsche:

102 UK RHD 2010 GT3RS
32 UK RHD 2011 GT3RS.

32 RHD 4.0 GT3RS, although I was always under the impression is was (26).

Maybe these figured aren't to be trusted 100% but that's what a Rachel from Porsche told me.
PH quotes "the 29 RHD cars have risen even more drastically in the UK"

Don't call me pedantic but what has a pendant got to do with the 997GT2.

Never wore one when I had my 2009 GT2!

There was a thread on here with UK Boxster Spyder and Cayman R numbers. I think there were about 221 Cayman R in total, split roughly 50:50 between PDK and Manual. Can't find the thread though! Doh!

997.2 GT2 RS - 500 WW, TBC RHD, (TBC UK RHD)

499 WW now as one written of in the USA was a big article as the guy had only just purchased it second hand and was killed in a terrible accident pictures may still be on the internet. The car wasn`t coming back.
I had one of the UK 997.2 GT2RS new from Porsche Sutton Coldfield total customer cars were 19 on top of this 4 or 5 more came in as celebrity cars sold directly by Porsche GB. The figure Porsche technical Reading gave me was in total 24 UK cars. There is a further car at Porsche Driving Experience but it was a pre production car does not have type approval and will not be sold. Bears the number 000/500 on its glove box lid.

CR roughly 5000 WW and the UK had more like 250 plus.
I know the post you mean so I will try and find later for the splits but I think there were more Pdks

Most of these agree with what I had, but there are some variations. (World wide numbers were official, RHDs mostly culled from the 'net).

1600 WW and pretty much every source disagrees on the number of UK RHD (87-134)

A lot of numbers for UK cars seem to have a variation or 4-10 cars. I suspect this is a disconnect between customer cars and press/PEC/Porsche Ambassador examples brought in by PGB.

Quite funny looking back how wrong I was thinking the quoted article might be vaguely correct (link goes to something else now, damned if i know why) with a 2000 limit.

There must have been over 4000 991gt3s produced and well over 3000 991RS made. Still find it hard to believe some quoted numbers of 6+k 991RS being made though given overall numbers of 911s coming out of the factory.

...erm except if you look at it, there is nothing there after 1998 except North American numbers.
