I realise this is an odd question but our black Labrador is very much mine at weekends. With the rear seats folded flat, would it be feasible for my dog to lay down in the rear of a 997?

Shouldn't be a problem. But why not let it have the passenger seat for more head in the wind fun? smile

Yes. My retriever can get in ours but it is tight and the seats are likely to get scratched climbing in.

My lab occasionally sits in the back of my GT3, especially on weekends to the Brecon Beacons, she loves the walks and I love the roads biggrin It does help as she is a working lab so is fairly small, she also used to sit in the back of my Griff and T350

I had a piece of foam custom cut to make a nice soft, flat bed for my lurcher in the back of my 997.2.

Still have it if you want to try it in your car (north London...)

No longer have the car sadly (dog still here ;-)

Is it a big Lab? If you pick it up and put it in tail end first it should fit in the luggage compartment under the bonnet. Bonnet is extremely flimsy so close softly = don't slam!

Don't see why not. Our greyhound fits in the back of my 996 turbo!

I leave seats up and put 2 cushions into back seats and she's happy.

Our cat thinks she is a dog, she comes in the car with us almost everywhere we go, she loves it.
