I don't believe the weight or the bhp.
Believe it!

As it happens, it is down tuned for road use and makes 700bhp at the 1.4 bar it is set at.
Has been tested at Judd, and run at Bruntingthorpe at 2 bar boost.
Managed 212 mph on the confines of the runway, and ran straight off the end of Judds 750 bhp dyno.

Needless to say, the engine has had open chequebook surgery.
Up for sale if your feeling brave?

wow... could you just remind me which fuel/ignition systems & ECU the car is running to create 700hp @ 1.4bar please.

Thats quick for a 700bhp car. Very quick. I'd say 700bhp may be conservative if thats a genuine GPS verified 212mph. Not much below 800bhp normally runs that fast at Brunters.

That would put you 7th in the VMAX all time leader board at Brunters http://www.vmax200.com/results/

Are you sure that 212 is accurate? The RS Tuning GT2 is running 800bhp built engine has better aero and not much in it weight wise and its best top speed is 209 mph. The GT2 is 30kgs lighter at 1440kgs vs 1470kgs for your car.

As stated, it was running 2 bar at brunters, bhp unmeasured. 800-850 on pump gas??
Was run with a GPS system and driven by Richard Chamberlin of CTR Developments who built the engine.
Was witnesed by 911 and Porsche world in their feature July 2011 (can still be found on ebay)

Engine uses the best of the best, with barrels that screw into bespoke heads at 800NM with tripple coated silver threads to give a boost proof top end.
Motec M800 handles the engine with active anit knock, twin plugs etc.
Throttle bodies, carbon plenums, a pair of K27's and and inconel exhaust handle the induction etc.
A hand made bar and plate intercooler and oil coolers from Marston Engineering keep things in hand.
De guttered body, lightweight roof, turbos pressure fed by each wheel arch intake, and obviously the flat nose helps cut through the air!

Needless to say, it is a handfull on the road, and a lot of respect is needed!
The only car I have driven that REALLY frightens me!

VMAX on 9th May - you should bring her along. Lots of potential purchasers there if you blitz it there... Few places left.
