Yellow Shakedown race as usual ( Britcar ) ....... old shagged tyres . Just turn up and hope , no sure if it would run got to 2.13 and some cups on podium....supprised ran well , no issues.... no need more pace .
Yes we will get the big camper again

Are you on youtube, as I need the sound to go with the picture!!

Not taking away what was acheived by RC and crew, but having seen a 2.8 rsr being rebuilt and then run, and the hair on the back of my neck standing up made me revaluate my priorities!

As for Vmax, it is not my thing.
Scared of going that fast after Richard Chamberlin told me of the drifting front end above 200mph!
Not my idea of fun.

I think he sold it. It was rep and ran on carbs rather than MFi IIRC.
I followed it down the M40 for some distance before it turned off North towards Beaconsfield or Amersham.
I put my window down as I drove past the junction, as the RSR accelerated off the slip road, all you could here was a wall of un-silenced flat 6 sound. It was remained audible even as I drove down the M40 .........
