Up £30K in 24 Hours...
Discussion
This was starting to look reasonably priced in the GT3 classifieds and then...

Not a bad way to make thirty grand in 24 hours eh?

That is a GT3R endurance racer.
One of maybe 60 cars originally in 2000 with future years production around 40 race cars per annum, and one of maybe only 60 cars now left in the World ? I know of four in the UK ... ??
Manufactured solely for the endurance series, they were very very expensive at a time when Porsche were doing great things, then used as mules to keep old cars going, then ?
You'll find detailed information at gt3r.com ---
By comparison there could be 2000 or more Cup cars around --- can you find a better value R ??

It's been on their website for literally years with no takers.
A bit like the rather cool looking R-Gruppe car - that's been there for about 3 years
I think they like being a bit of a museum for cool stuff - and why not - must be nice to look at that sort of stuff from behind your desk each morning

Do you really believe that's how they do their business model?A bit like the rather cool looking R-Gruppe car - that's been there for about 3 years

When I was there I asked about a particular 911 and if it was for sale (there was no price indicated). The reply was everything was for sale.
At that I left.

So you went to a car dealership, enquired about a car that was on the premises, learnt that all the cars there were for sale.... so you left? When I was there I asked about a particular 911 and if it was for sale (there was no price indicated). The reply was everything was for sale.
At that I left.
Have I missed something?

I'm so tired of seeing that car for sale for years on end. I wish we could all chip in and buy the bugger, stick it on a boat and torch it out into the Atlantic so it finally rests in Valhalla.
They clearly upped it by £30k to attract threads like this and renewed interest. It's only served to rekindle my desire to remove it as it's causing ghosting on my retinas.
