Is it me ? I'm sure it's just the angle of the photograph but it looks like a Nissan 370 ? Love the colour though.

I think it's due to the black side skirt and ducktail on the GTS that gives it a few 370Z like traits!

991GTS Manual - a rare beast indeed! I have only seen one for sale and that was at Guildford and was snapped up PDQ.

Great choice of car. I'd love one but would probably spec buckets and PCCB too.

Ruddy good car the new GTS. Not as far behind the GT3 than the 997 was.

Nice review here - http://www.9tro.com/features/new-cars/porsche-991-...

"When I drove the 997 Carrera GTS in 2010, I have to confess that I was rather underwhelmed. While it felt a bit crisper all round than a normal Carrera, the improvements to the chassis, drivetrain feel and response were not something to write home about. Close, but no cigar." I agree 100% with this.

"Four years on and the 991 Carrera GTS had me grinning from ear to ear after just a few corners on the twisty canyon road between Pasadena and the Willow Springs Raceway where I was heading to conduct the high speed testing. At that point, I instinctively knew that the new Carrera GTS was the real deal"

If i don't gel with the GT4 then a 991GTS is on the radar.

It was my PEC day on Friday with the 991 GT3 . Unfortunately it had some issues after 30 mins of use so moved across to a 997 GT3 ( which I've also owed in the past ) but then to a 991 GTS . Surprisingly I instantly gelled with the GTS , and had as much fun in that as the 991 GT3 . I will be keeping an eye out for one in the future .

I've never driven a GT3 so can't compare- but i love every minute driving my GTS..... It's not a manual but I have no regrets opting for the PDK/paddle shift- it drives sweet as a nut.

Having owned both I would say the GTS is a far better road car owning experience than the GT3. Kids in the back and a quiet GT, kids out the car press Sport Plus it is an amazing driving experience. I found you had to be ballistic in the GT3 to get the same level of enjoyment I can get in the GTS at reasonable speeds. Miles better than a normal 2S, a lot of tweaking gone into the car me thinks.

Beautiful car. I've got a GTS coupe about to land in GT Silver, manual, PCCB, sports PASM and buckets.
