Has anyone experienced the non-starting of a 911 turbo? My problem is the car starts fine from cold, but after taking it a 15 min drive and then stopping the car, on returning to the car 15 mins later it will not start (it turns over but will not start). There is no noise from the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay is not operating. If you by-pass the fuel pump relay you can then hear the fuel pump working, but the car will not start. After waiting half hour, the car will start again. Now it starts to cut out whilst ticking over. Does anyone know if there is anything before the relay, as in sensor, to make the relay work?

I had the same symptoms on a Ford Focus and it was the crankshaft position sensor.

Not sure how old your car is, which makes diagnosis a bit of an issue!
If it is a 930, I would suspect the cdi unit as mine played up when hot and caused the issues you have had.
You mention abs issues, so guess it is maybe a 996.
If so, book yourself in to a specialist to get it checked on a pwiz

Thinking about it now, I am pretty sure it's the crank sensor. I had the same problem on my diesel van.
The crank sensor shuts down the fuel relay and petrol pump. I disconnected the crank sensor and tried it with the casing off, the fuel pump relay, so I could see if the points in the relay connected.
They never did so I then connected back up fuel relay and the points connected, car started till got warm then cut off on its own.
It's a 2000 plate 996.
I've started to take it off so will get one ordered and fit one first. I will repost when
I have fitted the crank sensor.
