With that laid-back soundtrack and all those bends flowing one into the next, the effect is quite hypnotic.

Good job you got up early - you were driving on the wrong side of the road for most of that.

Fab video Ronin.
Could you elaborate on where these Canyons are? (roughly speaking!)

Would be even faster if both sides of the road used when visibility allowed (or if it had been a 991gt3 redcard )

hehe This is just a Sunday afternoon cruise up and down Piuma, no need to try and find a place to wreck so the idea was to be smooth and stay in my lane...
Ya never know what or who could be around the next corner..

Taking a racing line on the road makes no sense at all. There is no medal for a fast lap so all you are diluting yr fun by making the corners straighter. Makes sense on the track but on the road no chance even when visibility allows.

Tunnel vision is the rule on these roads.. After I look at the video I can see all the places I don't want to muck up..
Smooth is quick and the tires are amazingly quite even on the rough road surface....
The more I drive the Turbo S the more I am impressed with the lack of rear weight bias I can feel in the twisties, it really feels like the Rs211 in the corners... The AWD and four wheel steering make this the best handling Porsche ever....

Funny that the only GT3s I ever see are at Cars and Coffee gatherings, why is that ? biglaugh

Much prefer that to the use of hands that Chris Harris displays in his otherwise wonderful F212 vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz9YWdA_qtU check out from 1'20 on.

Good Porsche vid though, but still don't get the desire to drown engine sound with utterly st music. smile

Thats what happens when you hesitate, don't worry everyone slow's down a bit as they get older.

I think you're doing really well still getting out there at your age.

It looks like you are turning in too late for many of the corners. I noticed this in one of your exige videos.

Turning in too late would cause squealing tires and steering corrections.... Not me cool Last thing I want to do is cross that double yellow line into a blind corner too soon..

Must be easy riding shotgun instructor on the internet and I guess you know how fast I'm going with the car making a nice 17psi in between those corners...
Please post up a good mountain driving video of yourself so we all can see what a pro does on a rough road surface at speed....

On public roads that is the attitude and the way to enjoy a sports car withotu messingup your day/life or anyone else's. Ignore the backseat 'experts'.
