It's RS blue I believe , you're probably getting confused with Nogaro blue which is a bit different (google image search to see).
OP, as I understand it if you choose a colour that Porsche have used before then it shouldn't be much/any delay. The big delays are when it's a colour they've not done before, I.e. when they really are making a paint to sample (be that sample a nail varnish, or other manufacturer's colour etc), in this case they take months to formulate the paint and test it etc over a period of a few months before they're happy enough to paint and guarantee a whole car in the chosen colour.
Cheers - good to know - I have the list and it runs to 4 pages I think - must be one on there OP, as I understand it if you choose a colour that Porsche have used before then it shouldn't be much/any delay. Loved he comment from a van full of Polish builders once along the lines of ' nice car mate but st colour'. Each to their own I guess
I'm a big fan of Maritme blue too. I'd say if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly - PTS is a great opportunity to create something a little special.
Whatever colour you chose I'm sure it'll look fantastic!
Mate, I would pay these guys a visit and get some samples.

Forget 'normal' colours, go for something with a candy apple finish or something .... A finish like this..
Or this....

Yes thanks you're right - great problem to have
Maritime - good shout
I think this is also MB - any thoughts ?
Maritime is nice, definitely.Maritime - good shout

The second one is Audi RS Blue I believe, possibly very similar to Nogaro Blue. I don't think it is on the current approved list of custom colours.
I've just been through this with my GT4 and settled on Voodoo. I was close to going for Maritime though.

Yes Nagaro blue, I thought that was the same as Audi RS blue. I guess not!OP, as I understand it if you choose a colour that Porsche have used before then it shouldn't be much/any delay. Good choice - hard to tell the difference between Voodoo and Maritime - is Maritime a bit darker in real life ? The second one is Audi RS Blue I believe, possibly very similar to Nogaro Blue. I don't think it is on the current approved list of custom colours.

My minty GT3 has put smiles on many people's faces and brightened up many a car park! If you don't like attention though you're best steering clear.

This I think is a good representation of voodoo.

Voodoo, I'm told is neat blue so no hint of purple for example, I've not seen one in the flesh so difficult to comment definitively. Maritime to my eye seems a little smoother and more subdued but it's a classic blue. Link below will bend your mind if you're incline to a blue!http://teamspeed.com/forums/porsches-past-general-...

Couldn't agree more. I was flicking through my photo stream and of the 20 or so pics I took at the PH Silverstone Porsche Experience Sunday Service a quarter are of a mint green 997 GT3 which I presume from the plate must be yours. I was hoping to recreate the look if I was lucky enough to get one of the GT4 allocations. Sadly no luck but hopefully someone will be brave enough!Loved he comment from a van full of Polish builders once along the lines of ' nice car mate but st colour'. Each to their own I guess

I think for this reason alone , you should have been top of the list for a GT4 . Saw one at the Silverstone RS launch - really is a pretty car - don't give up keep a deposit in and if you are patient you never know - I know of people who got GT3's very , very late in the day Fingers crossed.RSVP911, have you seen the GT4 colour thread...fairly decent representation of both standard colours (albeit not RS orange or purple) as well as a range of custom colours, http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
