Just for the record - my comment on the blues wasn't clear - I said I didn't want them as they are becoming a standard GT colour - so I can completely understand your post - I in fact didn't mean this , I think they are great cols , I'm just a bit bored of them on a personal level - however Maritime / Voodoo blue still "do it" for me . Also I am fascinated by design and things looking "right" and this is the only reason I'd choose a colour : as if I like it it doesn't matter to me what others think. What I do love is asking people their views though - colour is such a personal and emotive thing - I love th diversity of it and the reactions it creates - everyone has a strong opinion . Either way , I'm loving this thread. I think I've changed my mind on my colour every time I open it. Obviously the only colour I KNOW I want is Aubergine and this is only because I've checked the PTS list and it's not available - joking

Riviera : (nicer than Maritime IMO) At a recent Breakfast meet at the Shelsley Walsh hillclimb venue, there were several 991 GT3's, a guards red, a white and a friend's Riviera example, the Red and White cars got barely a second glance, the Riviera car however had numerous admiring glances.
Maritime is non metallic, Audi RS blue (or Nogaro) is a Pearl/Mica colour. Take a look at it close up on a bright day and you can see the fine Mica effect.
Despite what others have said on here previously, it's my understanding that Audi RS blue and Nogaro are one and the same thing. Nogaro is still available on Audi's BTW, I saw a brand new A4 or A6 in an Audi showroom not three weeks ago.
Rubystone might not be available, there's a story behind the one and only Rubystone Mk1 996 GT3 pictured beneath, not sure how true it is is, but if it's to be believed, the factory won't paint a 991 GT3 RS in that hue.

yes nothing good ever comes of taking the other halfs opinion! The Kremer green was actually a slightly darker hue. I need to take a 986 S for a blast again to see if ithey really are as good as I remember.
OP pls choose a funky colour you like! That Aubergine colour looks the biz - I'd be surprised if Porsche cannot replicate it. Zero risk involved at any level.
