Haven't read it all but sounds like the issues were with the modified 930 engine hence why he fitted a 993 TT engine instead.

Sounds like he fitted the RSR suspension package from Rebel Racing to sort the handling.

I think some research into the "facts" about this car are needed. Sounds like Northway and Fearnsport had a fair bit to do with the build. Both have pretty good reps in the Porsche Indy space especially on turbo charged 911s

The 930 engine was a saga in itself, sad story of big promises and broken engines.

The 993 engine was small goosed when he got it, had a small refresh iirc. Then he melted a piston and the engine was totally rebuilt. There could've been more issues in between but I know for sure of the above. I had some conversations with him when I bought my 930 and was considering tuning mine.

He was trialling different setting and springrates with the RSR suspension, not sure if he got it right.

Certainly needs someone who knows what they are looking at to PPI, as above Northway and Fearnsport would be a good start.

It is a liability I guess, and will be hard to sell.. It's not as if I'd need the power, standard 930 is quick enough.

I also understand it sold at the Coys Porsche Auction a few months back for £30something K
Did it actually sell at £30k?
FFS, i would have bought it for that just to tuck away for the odd track day!!
I thought Richard wrapped up all issues with the last build, so engine must be relatively fresh as it was only a few months after completion that Jon sadly passed away.
Very sad to see this car passed around for no money!
