Cheers, I will share the progress when it gets underway but build won't start until early 2017 frown
I guess that gives you enough time to do your research into all the options available and to really immerse yourself in the project.

It must be like the ultimate LEGO kit or the world's most detailed model build. I'd be booking flights to the Porsche museum just to do colour options research biggrin

Best of luck to you and please do keep us all updated thumbup

I do like them and would have one in a heartbeat, even over an RS...

Very very jealous.

The Targa is pretty too and I don't think I have ever said that about a 964 Targa.

Fantastic!
What are you going for?
Coupe, 4.0, 6 speed with lsd and ohlins is all I have "decided" right now
I'm making a deliberate effort to try to go for a more useable road spec, rather than the normal method of maxing everything! So, currently have the 3.8l engine and the G50 5-speed box. Going for more upgrades in the interior, and of course the silver fuel and oil caps.

As I said, I'll be finalising at factory in a couple of weeks, so I can see everything up close. The chances are I'll be at 4.0, 6 speed and maximum everything by the time I get home!

Not sure on colour yet, that's the hardest bit - I've got a brighter colour than normal Singer on order now, but planning to keep it for a long time (esp as it will be worthless...), so might revert to something more classic.

Well done you smile

If i was fortunate to have one, I would like smaller diameter wheels, apart from that, a cracking looking car.

out of interest , RHD or LHD ?

My personal preference would be LHD due to the better driving position smile

Out of curiosity is there an option to have slightly smaller wheels, say 1 inch smaller diameter and width?

Wow, well done Deoders!

When talking to Rob at Goodwood on the Thursday at GFOS he said they did have some cars but I guess sourcing one yourself could be more fun! Lovely chap to chat with and clearly a real Porsche nut. I shall now look forward to living my dream vicariously through you!!

I'm struggling to think of a single car I want more than that.

Nope...

Congrats OP. Look forward to seeing the finished car when it's done.

Thanks again!

These are the wheels. Singer have spent a lot of time getting this right and if you talk to Rob, the wheels and tyres make the car. They complement those gorgeous arches and work has been done on suspension and removing adverse potential of bigger wheels and lower ride eg to bump steer etc.

Good luck! I'm in Washington and Oregon next month I wonder if the family would mind a quick flight to California? smile
Doing first pass on colours and interior tomorrow!

Looking through photos I haven't seen one colour that doesn't look fantastic.

Do you have an unlimited choice of exterior colours?

What about the interior?

I've seen the red and orange but there must be other choices.

Everything about it just looks right.
The months and months of getting the thing right in the first place has really paid off.

The Singer Gallery is a great starting point I'd have to go Green or Silver exterior and Brown or Lobster interior.

TEXAS (Green exterior)

NEW YORK (Grey exterior)

DUBAI (Racing Interior) - but either more brown or lobster
