wow. well done!
tell us mere mortals more about the ordering / customization process.......
assume you need to source your own 964? that alone is a task in this market
Ordering process for me has been simple so far.tell us mere mortals more about the ordering / customization process.......

I met Rob Dickinson, aka Mr Singer and had a good long chat.
Chris Harris turned up unexpectedly (not to see me I might add) so a good natter was also had.
Greg, Singers' UK servicing chap was an absolute pleasure and a mine of info, showed me all round the car in detail.
Furlongers have sent me the website config link and password.
And now I am stumped! Need to savour the whole experience and spend time with them looking at various materials and paint options.
Greg sources a donor 964 too.

I agree, except it will be under 20 years.
Nah I can't see anyone bothered to do that if they can blow 250k plus on a singer they clearly don't need the cash Singer make incredible cars, that is in no doubt but the original cars will be worth more money.
Put it this way, anyone who buys a Singer over say, a 993 or 964RS is betting the wrong way.
However, if they dont care about money and just want to make a car that suits them then fair enough.
Andrew - I went through the same process a few months back, and am going to the factory later this month (mid family-holiday) to finalise spec, although I have a holding one in place.
Wasn't easy finding a good base car. Greg was looking, but I was lucky enough to get a tip-off on one being traded in last month.

We are talking about cars here.
Please, no talk of values and could have made more money blah blah on this thread. It is crass and pointless.
