My view is you would be crackers to pay £100k over list but it's up to you in the end. The "£180k 991 GT3" has been and long gone and prices for that are in free fall.
"Free fall" lol....18 cars on the config, 145-185k, not to bad for a car that's starts life at 100k and is now what coming up to 2 years old......

145-185k lol. £185k is an irrelevant price and its been the same 18 cars for a couple of months now. Back in the real world, JZM slashed £20k off a grey car to get it to sell and they have done the same for a couple of others with no takers so far. Other dealers are doing the same. £130k for a club sport and £120k for a comfort spec car today I reckon. 145-185k is pie in the sky and you know it.

What you say makes sense, and that is reality. And some people have been caught out.

Offer a car to any dealer or an OPC and I doubt they will offer you over list for a cash deal,

They were hyped to death by some on here and they are just another example of the latest shiny must have techno-fest IMO. The 991 RS will be the same and are they really worth DOUBLE a 991 GT3? Massive initial demand driven by people's desire to get their hands on the latest shiny new toy, and then something better will be along to replace it. Only you can decide if £100k premium is a fair price to pay for that. I wouldn't bother.

I think it's rather strange someone with the means (and therefore one would assume the intelligence) to be considering a £250k "toy", feels the need to post such a question on a public forum.
What does it matter what anyone else "thinks" ? Either you can afford it or you can't. Either you want to buy it or you don't. If you can and you want to, just get on and buy it. Faux hand wringing on here is most unbecoming

Of course, as someone said, you may just be trying to highlight the fact you've been spurned by your OPC, and that money really is no object when you want something. In which case, you may as well have just said as much in the first place.

Omg I haven't mentioned here about any dealership, but many independents are predicting a £150k premium, so is it worth the £100k over....
views are what I'm asking for, so why don't the rude boys go and play on another thread, something a little more their style perhaps smile

(still stalking me pete, cant help wondering what's in it for you)

Of course the indies are going to tell you £K 150 over - completely self serving so they can bag a sale from you at £K 120 over - you think you have got a bargain - etc , etc . If you genuinely can afford to spend this on a car , surely you can see through this crap ? Not trying to offend , just don't want anyone to get ripped off smile

The OP asked a question about the value of an RS. I answered it and put it into context with the current market for the 991 GT3.

Are you STILL feeling the need to comment on my every post regarding the value of these cars? Christ on a bike.

I do wonder whats behind these type of threads, and they seem to be on the increase.

Could it really be possible to push up a market on this website? Or am I just an old cynic?

Selling, really?

There is a yellow car in the classifieds that fits your order, sitting at £140k but been for sale for ages so no doubt will be open to offers nearer your figure. These prices will get back to below list when the 991.2 GT3 is launched in 18 months time. And that car is coming.

Might be worth calling Jzm and asking what they can do on the red CS they have just slashed the price of, they mention in the advert the owner is happy to take offers!

First-world problems Lord Fontleroy. Buy it, don't buy it. We couldn't give a stuff.

Don't take that wrong :-)
