I know! You need to find time to be obnoxious to posters on other threads too. I can't expect to get all the attention!
You remind me of that very nice chap, that sold all our Gold at rock bottom.....if you put a pin in any date over the past 24 months, could not have picked a worse time to sell.......lolEdited by APOLO1 on Monday 6th July 10:20

Selling, really?
These prices will get back to below list when the 991.2 GT3 is launched in 18 months time. And that car is coming.
What so you think that there will be 991.? GT3 stand alone N/A, more advanced PDK-S,RWS, above 475bhp?These prices will get back to below list when the 991.2 GT3 is launched in 18 months time. And that car is coming.

Personally I'd feel a fool paying 100k over list even if I could afford it.
That said, bearing in mind dealers are now advertising the 964RS for 250k
the 991 GT3 and GT3RS both seem a lot of car for the money.....
better to pay overs for the right car that will continue to appreciate, than list for something that will just go down.......That said, bearing in mind dealers are now advertising the 964RS for 250k

I don't see any 991 GT3 RS for sale anywhere. I know the trade is firm bids at 85k over list today. All the Porsche specialists. 5 footballers 7 business owners all firm bids. Looking for cars. An RS is simply a fantastic car and a future classic you must realise there are people earning enough cash in a week lot pay 250k for such a car. Normal rules don't apply. I am a firm bid at 80k over for an ultramarine spec. Please let me know where the firm offer is. Cash buyer. 918 owner.
I have no idea what the value will be and it is not a reason for me to buy the car.
I tend to keep my cars for long periods and enjoy them. I get the car at 08:30 on September 2 at the factory. List price. Who knows who it will do?..I might stuff it at the track, it might not be as great as I anticipated, it might be better.
For me, its about the experience. Of course, it would be nice in a sort of desultory way if the value increased, but I have owned and loved cars where the opposite occurred. I am not a flipper ,just want to slip into that seat and drive the wheels off it. That's what I am paying for.

You, Sir, are just too sensible for this thread. I tend to keep my cars for long periods and enjoy them. I get the car at 08:30 on September 2 at the factory. List price. Who knows who it will do?..I might stuff it at the track, it might not be as great as I anticipated, it might be better.

Having read your posts with your green 997.1 and white/red 997.2 with much interest i'm really pleased to hear that you got a car at list, great news.I tend to keep my cars for long periods and enjoy them. I hope you enjoy it, i take it you will be going from the factory and staying a couple of nights at the Tiergarten and Pistonklause?
If you get a chance post up some pictures and thoughts on the car.

Definitely going to the Nordscheife, but much to my disappointment cannot get a booking at the Tiergarten, though undoubtedly will be in the PK a few times. The Blancpain Endurance race is at the end of the week I will be there, so not much I can do. I have a pretty interesting set of runs planned ,so should be fun. I was lucky to get a car, had a deposit down a long time ago. I suspect having a good relationship with the dealer is helpful, getting your cars serviced there, being reasonable and not rude, and not being a flipper are pretty basic buildng blocks to getting a car. I am certainly not by any means the biggest ,or even close to the biggest buyer there. I will post some stuff for sure.

Assume you mean ultraviolet ? Also if you are a 918 owner , I assume you have a slot already - you must like it a lot if you want two ? Edited by RSVP911 on Monday 6th July 21:39
