Was just enjoying my french Porsche magazine Flat 6 and came across an article that might interest the GT3RS owners among you. Their upgrades to the engine produced the most powerful normally aspirated 911 that the mag has ever tested with 411 hp @ 7020 rpm & 429 Nm @ 4890 rpm. It went on to establish a new Flat 6 record for the 100 to 200 kph yardstick.

The upgrade comprises a cargraphic exhaust, BMC air filter and a re-map by the Schmirler brothers at RS Tuning, at the princely sum of 9k euros. To go from 381 to 411 hp that equates to £200/hp.

Anyway, the article was full of superlatives, so someone had better go over and try their demonstrator and report back!

Sounds like the same as the Manthey racing K410 power upgrade that JZ Machtech are doing for the same price/power gains.

A few people on here have had it done to their MKII's and it's meant to transform the car.

Thinking of having it done to mine in a month or so.

We've got a Cargraphic review queued up somewhere. Not sure which model it was...

Yeah great but some boggo 996RS's can pump out 400 bhp, or a gnats todger away, on the rollers as standard.

The Cargraphic RS was in GTPP not long back. They really liked it.

They also took some lovely photos of it.

Has to be said that they cheated a bit too, in that they've reduced the final drive ratio a tad. This would naturally give it an even more explosive acceleration at the expense of top speed. Apparently this didn't stop it being capable of 300 kph, or around 195 mph....
