Nigh on half the price originally asked. I wonder if it was an actual sale or whether it will appear again in a week.
asking 60k selling at 32k after fees

I don't recall the asking price being that high to start but it did include £5ks worth of BBS rims which were sold off separately.

It was 60k at frst then quite quickly dropped to 55k - so 35K must be disappointing to Lemass - but it's a narrower market if the car is modified obviously - looks like a good amount of car for that money though

To even throw that sort of thing around is pretty out of order if you ask me.

his work is very highly regarded by the group. He's painted my 964 and is about to undertake a major bare metal job for me on the car.

Sorry for slightly derailing an older thread.

We were thinking of sending our 964 Carrera 2 to them for paint. Though looking at the post above plus the seeing Lemass Automotive have been removed from the "WORLD 964 OWNERS" partners page now casts doubt.

http://www.world964owners.com/#!sponsors/c24jy

They were definitely listed on the page last summer when we first considered a paint job.

Suggestions for trusted Porsche paint shops within 25 miles of North, West, South London?
Would be a glass out job.

Can highly recommend Daytona Coachworx in Stevenage.

Lemass did a great job on my car and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I would not discount them based on the fact they no longer have a 964!

Gents, thanks.

Have no interest in what the proprietors may or may no longer own. If they have been removed as sponsors from what is perceived to be one of the more popular 964 owners groups, and the owner of the group has himself opted to take his car elsewhere for paint, actions speak louder.

As for the other input, great info. Sussex suits over Stevenage and Precision Porsche look a tip top outfit who seem very familiar with air cooled. We will get on the blower to them next week.
