In my experience an OPC are just as happy to talk rubbish as any Arthur Daley set up.
When I rang one OPC regarding a 991 for sale the salesman flatly denied the car was an ex demo car even though
unbeknown to him I'd had the car on demo. When he realised id had the car on demo the OPC salesman went quiet
for a few seconds before saying 'it's NOT a demo car- it's owned by the garage MD but he often lends it to people'
What a nice MD who lends out his £100k car willy nilly to strangers and then he's "sold" it back to OPC so they can sell it on, surely a huge conflict of interest selling your personal vehicle to the company you work for!

It's shocking how bad used car salesmen are and the lies they tell. Whilst I've come to expect lies and can usually see through them, I often email a list of questions and ask for answers back by email. If they refuse then you know something is up.

The one thing that gets my goat is the amount of time they make you wait around in the OPC... Sapping you of the will to live so you just give up and stop negotiating! It's a common technique used by most car sales operations unfortunately!

Ok well to me that sounds like mainly motorway miles and no track activity given Rev ranges are clean, so would imply a car that's been bought and not used much apart from the odd long distance run. Why 5 separate owners would do that in a short space of time doesn't make sense but is possible.

That's my take on it, the more experienced Pork enthusiasts may have a different view to me.

I never have an issue with the amount of owns its all about condition for me so id pay more attention to the person inspection that was carried out Monday. As previously mentioned always good to get a 2nd opinion
