I've selected a PTS colour for my GT4. My original idea being to replicate this colour on the interior trim - ie Viper Green body, painted interior trim in Viper Green.

When running through this at my dealer, it seemed he could only select one of the standard colours for the painted interior trim. Is this the case, is it not possible to have the interior trim in a PTS colour?

I think the reason that PTS colour is not available on interior trim is to reduce complexity and speed up PTS compatibility .. Porsche only has to worry about a limited set of parts to test PTS colour on.

Buy a plain console and get a bodyshop to paint it.

I was fully loved up on Viper with silver wheels.

Are you still Racing Yellow? Ian thought you might have changed?

If I'm not investing in a custom colour I may go CS pack with Carrara and get the roll cage painted to match post purchase. Shame a painted cage isn't an option.

Porsche are pi$$ing me off with their continual revision of the option list availability.

That looks awesome and exactly what I wanted. Is that RS Green (2D8) or Viper (255)? You even have green deviated stitching!!! Perfect!

Not sure of code but was the original green offered on the RS.1, which I believe was just called "green', strangely. I believe it is not Viper but most people seem to call it that.

Still Racing Yellow with leather and clubsport pack as cost options only.

That 'viper' green was a std colour on 997.1RS and therefore you could have the decorative internal components painted, just as you can with std colours on a GT4

Wrong, it's Porsche Green, not Viper and it was an extra cost colour. Black and Silver were the standard and Orange and Green the extra price ones.

nah. want to keep the car as poverty spec as possible. The lithium battery is intriguing but you can get a Braille lithium for much less and lighter. And, it's only a battery.

To me, the only important spec is clubsport.

If the seats came in my preferred nomex, i'd even save on the leather. Wonder if it is possible to get them in nome instead of leather/alcantara.
