What happened to the other two? Sold them at 175k?
one swopped for CS, one sold to OPC......
Do you still think the GT3 will make £200k? And how much will a good spec 991RS make? Assume you have at least a couple on order.

Coming up to 2 years old now, and still holding what 30-40% above list, depending how the RS settles from a used point, can see em going back to 175k for Low miles CS with right spec ......For me like I said 2nd best driving car I have ever owned driven...
When they release the Gen 2 at £110k list there is no way the Gen 1 cars will stay over list. That is just insane.

Depends on numbers as usual. When all sold a Gen 2 would be 5k more than a Gen1, simples.

My dark blue one was sold by an OPC for 150k a few weeks ago (6,000 miles on the clock).
I sold it for the RS.

You rate 991 GT3 as 2nd best driving car you've owned?

What did/do you rate as number uno?

Hahahaha. Nice smack down A.

I love mine. I thought about selling and got multiple offers but then I drive it and love it more and more and more. And then I drive it again and fall in love even more. It just makes all journeys feel special and I don't get people who say otherwise. At 70mph on a sweeping B road is mega. The chassis is mega. The gearbox is fantastic. I just love it.

Only complaint is lack of noise down low. But valves being disconnected and SW bypass should address that need be.

And the engines. Am on my FIRST AND ONLY engine from factory being one of the last cars. I ran it in carefully. Changed the oil at end of run in and feels smooth as silk. Doesn't even use oil as some have reported.

I am on 3400 miles now in 6 months and it's the only car I have ever owned who will make me wake up at 6am on a Sunday to go and have a blast.

Re warranty all cars should have a 4 year warranty as Porsche UK had given it as a gesture for the patience from first owners (like me).

Do it.

Do you mean 3 yr warranty, 2 yr plus the gesture. Still have not got mine validated yet, my OPC wanted to see the Chris Craft letter so they could do it.

I'm sure he means 4-year warranty.

The car comes with a 2-year warranty as standard.
In the UK there is a warranty for the third year which is added to the list price of the car (but I believe you can have it removed)
Owners were given an extra years' warranty following the engine change debacle.

I believe some owners elected not to pay for the 3rd year warranty and receive this free instead.

Yep, I have 4 yr in all, my mistake. Paid £1020 for the 3rd year and the gesture making it 4 yr.

I need to drive mine more , only have 2900 miles on the clock and she's approaching one year old.

That is epic but if I had one and was on the 3rd engine I just wouldn't enjoy it. I'd be paranoid about every little noise or vibration. Warranty or not.

My Cayman S was a brilliant all rounder but after it suffered the dreaded bore scoring I fell out of love with it.

This is important actually one of the owner on here was told off by his OPC mechanic because he wasn't working the engine hard enough which meant carbon deposits accumulating and leading to check engine light.

These cars need to be driven. I warm up mine religiously but the 8k rpm is there to be enjoyed. And 9k if am feeling really naughty... Just to annoy the RS crew :-)
