I've had my first ever Porsche, a 2008 gen 1 997 911 since February. Since then it's developed a bit of a hesitation at 2100 revs which I want to get diagnosed.

Can anyone suggest where to get this done? I assume Porsche dealerships will be much more expensive than Indys?
Which are the best indys within an hour of Leeds?

I'm looking to keep this car for a decent length of time so finding a garage that I can trust, and that's not likely to rip me off, is paramount.

Revolution Porsche in Brighouse, not had loads of work done there but they're always been really good, accomodating and professional.

+1 for Revolution. They even have their own alignment right now.

Another option is Jasmine Porshalink if you can bring yourself to go to Lancashire!

Another vote for Revolution. Just booked in for my annual service, they have looked after my car well since they did the PPI.

Strasse in Leeds.

Had both a 3.2 and a 996 with them. No nonsense, straight talking guys that have always sorted my cars issues out.

They prepare race winning cars, so must know a trick or two about sorting engine issues.

Try Porschtek. Very highly qualified technicians. Tony and Phil are great guys. Straight talking and great service. I can wholeheartedly recommend them. We had our 4s serviced there for 3 years. And more recently had repair work carried out on our 997 turbo. Well worth a try.

Thanks guys. Prior to seeing your responses I was going to go with Porschetek but seems like Revolution wins the vote.
Both are same price for fixed servicing so I'll go purely with the highest vote and will ring them in the morning.

Many thanks,
Rob
