Back to cars.

I've found the photo of the red RS. Great combo.
Great looking 7.2RS. I've felt an inexplicable urge to scan the classifieds for these. The CGT and 4.0RS are unobtainable unicorns now, so this will do.

And then I jump into my 6. Yesterday was a great evening to go for an aimless thrash and celebrate a thousand years of the bubble, so the urge doesn't crystallise into something real.

Is that the finished garage I remember reading about a while back when it was still in build? Looks nice

Nice motors Pete. Are you and Paul stacking them up instead of the usual pension fund??? Good luck at the classic. I'm missing the racing but time commitment more than I can negotiate with the Mrs/kids (or myself to be honest). I might get a couple of races in as a second driver later this year - a chum has a clio cup car which is cheap to run, fun and he does the legwork!

Thanks but not sure if the same one you're thinking of as the photo shows the front which was already there. The new build was an extension at the back (it's on the garage thread 2 or 3 years back). If I have one regret it's not making a teeny bit extra space for a 5th car just to drive the missus mad, hehe.

Have now moved on from dreaming of the 7.2RS to an Evora 400/410.

Ah extension around a corner rings a bell - with an M5, the gt3, a delta integrale and another car parked inside . More space always good as there will always be "just one more car" that should be bought for perfect bliss

Went over to see a friend of mine.
He has just renewed his insurance for his Aston Martin Db4 value now £275k
The car has been in his family, over forty years from his Dad.
He could not believe was insured for £75k before.

The Evora 410 does look like an interesting GT3 alternative.

I wonder what feels closer to a 997 GT3 - an Evora 410 or a 991 GT3? smile

Actually Admiralty Arch is quite a fantastic building too. The days of the Empire and all that.

Early hours in the Mall with its Maple trees and open space is really quite fabulous too. Shame people and cars have to ruin the peace.

Pip wink

It's a great picture, the sort that inspires you to go for a drive. If only I could lay off the sauce in the evenings to enjoy a proper early hours night drive... Then again, too many deer and badgers round here!

GT4, no point picking a evora over a GT4 IMO

What happened to people, buying a car to enjoy and have fun with?
As I said before, there is a car for everybody's taste and pocket.
That is why the classic car industry is so popular.
Up or down values cars will still be around to enjoy.

Go for it 'EVERY MILE IS A SMILE'

I see numerous deer/car interfaces - Digga snr had the wing mirror of his last Jag ripped off by an antler - and have had a few near misses myself.

Badgers though, apart from once early in the morning, I only ever see at night. The picture I posted up from last Thursday's bike ride involved shooing one off the road in front of us. Riding a bike late at night has made me realise just how mobile the wildlife is!
