Ok so it wasn't a surprise for you but the entire financial market got it wrong judging from the reactions.

Hindsight is a great thing.

Is this the car with the Fuchs? I think that I remember seeing this for sale a while ago. From meory, it had a few very minor mods that may put purists off

So it will be interesting whether the sliding pound will actually mean more expensive Porsches or will there simply be a minor increase for the next models and Porsche will absorb the extra costs.

Could result in fewer GT and 'halo' cars hitting the UK especially IF Brexit goes through on less than favourable terms.

This would effectively be a u turn from Porsches mootings pre referendum when future production was to be increased partly as a result of the bad press from flipping premiums and resultant prevention of OPCs selling flipping cars.

So if fewer cars are destined for the UK, this could have the effect of actually increasing premiums although to a degree the catastrophic fallout and economic uncertainty which will now prevail for a considerable time will undoubtedly mean there will be fewer punters with the confidence and wherewithall to purchase.

I doubt the Euro will be stronger in 12 months than what it is now.

I can't help you with that sorry, it was one of many cars I looked at that day and was over 6 months ago.

should they just create new category for the 160k or similar models as "museum" edition biggrin

I mean yes they are absolutely beautiful but it does not make any sense in general, if you are only looking to buy it to drive and have fun. Whoever touched them or had some significant historical reference, maybe they should stay on a different category.

Is it gonna be like 550 speedsters? where owners acquire original models for millions and they can not even drive due to high-value and no insurance willing to cover, so they just also produce a replica of them to enjoy for weekend-driving. rofl

The leader of the Conservatives has effectively resigned. The leader of the second largest party looks like he will follow. This leaves only Nigel Farage as leader of the 3rd largest party (12.6% of the vote) during the last general election who is still in leading their party.
Those that dismiss Farage as having no influence over the coming months are wrong. He knows the EU, the system and the people better than most. He is ideally placed to be a part of the negotiations. The UK enters negotiation from a position of strength, we after all a huge market for Euro goods and services.
Leave negotiation to career politicians / lawyers and both sides could suffer. They need to be held to account and Farage has excelled in that role.

A bargain compared to the asking prices of 991R, 991 GT3RS, GT4 and all that other nouveau riche junk.
It's expensive compared to the actual selling prices. 991 RS was selling under £200k before brexit, post brexit anyone paying over would have loads a money. GT4 I don't know about but they made more of them than RS and Spyder so they will most probably be a cheap buy soon.

One of his best and he is 100% correct. Political Union by the back door via the Lisbon Treaty after it was rejected several times and yesterday it is leaked that they want to fedralise everything, total rule by Brussels! They are power crazed unelected zealots. The EU will continue to misread the feelings of the Euro nations, they simply refuse to understand or admit anything could possibly be wrong.

Given the forum and his history there did you expect anything else? Great theater.

It is not a negotiation yet, but smiles, tough talk and even rudeness are all fair tactics common in many a negotiation in my experience. His grasp on the EU and its ways are well known and respected albeit reluctantly by the majority in that chamber.

I won't disagree with you but at least he has the balls to say what he feels. That said it is pretty daft to request a tariff free trade deal, working in perfect harmony with the EU etc. when you have just insulted the members by telling them that they are inept because they have no real world business experiences. Not his finest moment but probably true for most of them

Luckily he will have no say or involvement in any negotiations.

I predict they will create a new thing called EU associate which is a member in all but name. Nobody will be happy and everyone will feel they have been conned. 5 minutes later most of us will just get on with our lives and businesses.

I can't say that I see what you see.. What I do notice is that the photographer wasn't standing directly in the centre, but was slightly to the left.

On the left rear indicator the end of the lens goes past the shut line above it. On the right lens it does not which is correct.

I think that is very unlikely. The closest to that I can see us getting is free movement (all of it, including persons), having to comply with all laws, and having no say in the making of them.

I think that is overwhelmingly the likely outcome. The public will go mental, but the EU doesn't have to offer us anything better so won't.

Sensible sellers will be waiting a while before putting cars on the market . I suspect that only mostly forced sales will find their way to market in the short term. A potentially difficult time for traders funding high levels of stock. A lot may depend on their resolve and levels of funding

You seriously think our new govt will go for that type of deal after the electorate has visibly shown their feelings about our current immigration policy by voting with its feet?

Why not wait till the deals done now rather than wittering on about it ad nauseam.
