I mentioned this on another thread, going back a few years, all the good cars started going to the Far East, might this be a good opportunity for those markets now?
Also, JZM have some lovely cars at lovely prices at the moment, be interesting to see what shifts.
Been getting the JZM sales update with the same two RS's featured for quite a while now it seems . . .Also, JZM have some lovely cars at lovely prices at the moment, be interesting to see what shifts.
Had a great day yesterday
Got up
Read some doom and gloom on various forums and newspapers
I allow myself regular updates (for a giggle) on car value curtesy of that cash for car website with the annoying jingle and it had gone down unsurprisingly
Sun was shining, got car out and took the 4 yr old to swimming lesson over the moors on the back route
Went past 26,000 miles on the clock - no drama
It was raining when we came out - no drama
Came home, splashing through the rain - the lad loved it
End of the day I benefited massively from the upsurge in values which allowed me to get the 997.1 so if it goes down a bit, it won't stop days like yesterday!
Now got to get some belts in the back as the 18 month old is eyeing up trips with dad and big brother.........or get a turbo s
Dilemma dilemma

What was it about the same between the 7.2RS & the 7.1? Do you see the 991RS back at list and the 7.2RS 200K+
Who knows, but the delta is getting smaller at JZM. My view is that the 7.2 will overtake the 991. I think people will gravitate towards the more analogue and engaging feel of the 7.
I think that'll happen regardless of whether the 991.2 or whatever the next RS is, is manual or PDK. PDK would mean that the 7.2 is still the last manual. A manual replacement would leave the 991 out on a limb.

Only a £25k delta between the 991 RS and 997.2 RS. Both just in at JZM.
The 991 RS they current have is a HK car which must make it a cheaper car than a UK Car ? No idea what the numbers built of both were but I imagine the 997 was made in much lower numbers. Sam All said:

Agreed. At the end of the day what does the 991.RS do that won't be bettered by the next car? It has flappy paddles, non mezger engine, furthest from the cup cars in GT3 history. It will be usurped by the next shinier thing. My view is that the 7.2 will overtake the 991. I think people will gravitate towards the more analogue and engaging feel of the 7.

It is a victim of easy money sloshing around looking for limited number items to make a quick buck on. That money will move to the next model. Then why will people mention the 991RS. Where is its place in history? First RS to have an auto? Wow.

Ahahah I know that last one! Since then had a 993 turbo, 997.1GT3RS and 964RS...all daily drivers, all roof bars equipped for my surf tripsHad a couple Ferraris as well (360, Strad, Scud, 575HGTC) and currently running on my 2nd Stradale, no where as convenient even though I've managed to fit a baby seat, but no roof bars which is quite ennoying as it doesn't get as used as it should be.
Whatever I've had, if I had choose 3 it would be 993, 997GT3RS and Stradale

The 997.2RS also looks better than the 991 RS
really? 991 RS in the right shade definitely inspires some admiration(and that's with a 7.2 RS in the garage)
Next to the 911R on TG last week, it looked like it'd been well and truly 'Barry'd' IMO
