Unfortunately sold Spiderman...
The yellow is a really nice colour, but on a nice sunny day, it's hard to beat the blinged up Spiderman.
A neighbour had a white (with red graffitti) one of these from new, which he then swapped for an Aventador. Amusing as the latter is, I'd not have done that, but then I'm not in a position to pay for either.... (First Aventador now gone for an SV.)The yellow is a really nice colour, but on a nice sunny day, it's hard to beat the blinged up Spiderman.
I think the Spiderman GT3RS is a truly spectacular combo. The only one to edge it, very slightly, for me would be the grey and red.

Now I have been driving this distance over the last 20 years in various sports cars ( V12Vantage, 997 turbo, DB9 etc ) but nothing compares with the RS of '16 vintage.
I'd be interested to know if you've driven a 7.2 RS and how it compares against the 991 RS on a long distance European trip? If you had to choose one car of any marque to entertain both on track and on the road (particularly long distance), what would you choose and why?As Isaldiri says, I do have a 997 GT3 4.0 as well and when I collected it from the dealership 4 years ago I actually drove the exact distance with the car ( albeit when it was completely new - so under strict guidance to keep it below 4000 rpm at the time ).
You would get the same joy out of taking the 4.0 but in a different way. The 4.0 is more "raw" than the 991 RS. Whilst you get a bit of the rawness in the 991 above 4000 revs, it is there all the time in the 4.0. So when people say that the 991 is more everyday car ( and a bit boring as a result )this is true - provided you keep it below 4000 revs - above that it starts revealing its inner "beast" more. Unfortunately you need to go abroad to unrestricted Autobahns or deserted mountain roads to discover it's true personality as within the UK you simply cannot exploit its potential even on track. The 991 is easier to drive fast and also more confidence inspiring. The downforce and the 4 wheel steering makes the car feel planted through high speed corners. In the 4.0 it is a much more white knuckle experience to go flat out as the front feels lighter. At 300 km/h and at night corners come at you fast and I believe the 991 is more forgiving than the 4.0 but I wouldn't want to test it. If I lived in Germany ( and I have done so in the past for more than 10 years ) I would probably use the 991 RS more as an everyday car but in the UK the 4.0 is more the car for the special occasion. The 991 is simply too "normal" at everyday usage. And for the record: I have absolutely no qualms with either the pdk or the electric steering. It suits the 991 in the same way the manual gearbox and the hydraulic steering suits the last gen. GT3s.

I saw a red McLaren this evening that I'd not seen before, but a friend nearby has a yellow spider.

Having been inundated by absolutely nobody here's some more pics of the most discreet, low key, zero war paint 7.2 RS
you ever did see. (Pics right side up)]
Lol! you ever did see. (Pics right side up)]
RS is a mistress that needs Agent Provocateur and lipstick for the world to see.
GT3 is the wife, that is demure and only the husband ever gets to see the wild side of.
For the avoidance of doubt, male and female interchangeable. Although not sure I want to see any of my male PH brethren in APs.
