Would loved to have driven that around Hawai'i in 1977!

The image of the NGT is very nice ...

What was the buyers premium ? I guess this is to add ...

I'm delighted it sold, interestingly the other 964 RS didn't..... Not sure what to make of that.

I believe the results include the buyers premium which was 12.5%+VAT.

Thanks, so it's the price actually paid, and the seller received around 17.5% less ....

I think it's around 18.3% off the full price paid.

Buyer pays 15% including VAT. And seller pays 6% including VAT.

Both of the 964RS's for sale were nice cars.

The hammer price for the Blue NGT was £140k - buyers premium on top was 12.5% + VAT - the car was sold to Germany!

The "monkeybum' RS was bid to £100k at which it did not sell - there was an announcement as this car went on sale that it did not have its original engine, it had been replaced ...... but no reason given for replacement.

So, a crash damaged NGT going for "low" money and a non-matching numbers lightweight that didn't sell. That doesn't really give much of a useful indication as to where the market is for a genuine straight car....

I know what you mean although I recall DB did have a 993 Carrera S from new in the late 90's so he has some taste and history re Porsches.

He also bought a Cerbera 4.5 new around the same time, so like him or loathe him, he is a man who knows and loves his motors. He's also a keen motorcyclist too.

Fair play to him I say. No sour grapes here.
