Someone did well with the current exchange rate there!
Good value in today's market. Bargain for buyer in Euros. Strength in the Euro today for Porsche classics on sale in UK. Expect more to go West. Low, quoted, mileage too at 25,000.Some observations: The harnesses and the steering wheel had been changed from original and it had no fire extinguishers. These changes are common for an N/GT. The surprise for me though is that it had carpet fitted - unusual for an N/GT - even though the write-up stated it had been removed.

A 911 S worth a small fortune... She's an acquired taste though!
an impact bumper '2.7S' is one of the most affordable aircooled 911's these day, it being at the time the entry level model.. they are very different to the pre-74 'S' cars which were the top of the pile ( excluding the 73RS )Edited by hot66 on Wednesday 19th October 18:11

Yes agree - it was more like phlegm from what I can remember - proper 70's colour I love it -I do think it's called Olive ?? Also one of the best TV crime dramas ever made (along with The Killing -Scandi version not the American one) If anyone's not seen these two - I'd highly recommend them I think it's not off topic. These shows, probably helped to hit massive high-prices in air cooled market! (Popular culture always helped or destroyed a brand, I think)
Anyone remember the Austin Healey and E-types at Mad Men? I also do believe the prices were going very rapidly high on those models after they are on the show.

£226k for a 1 of 5 928...still seems excessive. Amazing what people react when told it's a limited number.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
