CLP Door trim package in leather/Alcantara Exclusive

What do the doors come like standard then? I thought this would be included in the leather/alc package.

Any ideas on how much the decals are? My dealer doesn't know anything about them. Assume they are dealer fit?

There are a few extra bits on the door that would otherwise be plastic. There's a good photo somewhere with the areas highlighted, but you can't see many of them without the door open.

OPC have said they can get them, but haven't offered any info on UK pricing. In the US they are about USD600 for the set: http://suncoastparts.com/product/SKU981GT4STRIPE.h...

That's just over 20 so far. Did anyone every find out how many were UK bound in total?

Does the car come with Porsche tracker as STD? Insurance quotes start at £350, but want track ins too...

Cheers

Did you deliberately leave out 573 two-zone climate? For me this is one of Porsche's more outrageous "non-optional" options. The dual zones are perhaps a bit pointless, but the climate (i.e. the ability to set a temperature and benefit from thermostatic control) functionality really is a standard feature in most cars nowadays.

Has anyone test driven the GT4 before ordering. Just wondered if Porsche have fixed the problem with the drivers window when fully open creating terrible wind buffeting noise like the Cayman models.

Yes, I left it out for a couple of reasons. I had it in my 991S and didn't really use it, as long as I have air conditioning I don't mind, if you're hot turn the fan speed up.

Having said that, I think climate should be a no cost option, rather than offering it at £518 which is a joke.

On a Cayenne or 991S maybe it's more important, for similar reasons I didn't spec cruise control as I never use it and don't think it should have a place in a GT car.

The car is GT, but so many speed cameras....... in any case, you can retro fit for not much more.

There was NO air conditioning on the yellow PEC car and it was unbearable - I don't know whether this means a/c is not standard but you might want to check this out. The fan was next to useless.

Is the earliest UK GT4 delivery September (with the majority in October/November)?

The yellow PEC car has air con delete - standard cars all come with air con (on and off function) but not the automatic climate function which they make you pay for - which I agree is a joke! I'm sticking to the standard a/c system, it will do just fine

Same here. Better putting the £500 odd extra climate cost to more worthwhile options.
