Is it me or have others spotted that there are more used C4S 996 cars for sale than C4 996, why is this, previously I always thought that the C4S would be more sought after/residually retentive?

I would imagine a whole heap of 996 C4S have just come into the dealer network having traded to the 997.

The manual C4S coupe has been (until 997 was launched) the most popular choice for 911 orders for the past 2 years or so. 911&PW also mentioned it in their last edition. The cheapest 996 C4S cars available now seem to be around the £53K mark. Long term I'm unsure on depreciation. There are only a low number of 993 C4S around so used values have stayed high for years. I'd love for my next car to be a C4S with X51 if I could find one as I can see my running costs increasing dramatically if I go with the heart and get a 996TT.
