Hi guys,

I'm just after some advice and recommendations before I consider visiting my local OPC.

Does anyone have a preferred suspension geometry expert that they'd recommend?

I have a 2002 996 Carrera 4S that spends some time on track.

Many thanks,

Damian

I'm in the dark here myself, but I would ask OPC if it's possible/advisable to setup the car with GT3RS geometry?

I recently had a full geometry check on my 911 over in Halesowen Birmingham. Check was very detailed gave me a full readout and better than that it was free!.The engineer who carried out the check said that the local dealers bring 911's to him on a regular basis he was both knowledgable and enthusiastic. He also informed me that generally the whole job ususally came to no more than £85 ish should he have to do work to it.If you want the details I will post them on here later.

Just increase the front camber a smidge, but certainly to no more than minus one point five, and fit a strut brace. Leave the rest standard or it will affect the road manners.

The company is called Chemix Auto centre the chap I dealt with was Kevin (I think).Forge Lane(bottom of Mucklows Hill)Halesowen B62 8EB. tel 0121 550 2566.
You need to tell them your coming as they like to set aside some time because apparently 911's can sometimes be a pig to work on.Good luck!.
