Thank you for the clear and concise answer, you clearly live in a parallel universe.
Thanks for your reply - you clearly only want to read information that is consistent with your preconceived ideas...Btw,, MrDoom is also a Porsche fan, and a very knowledgeable one.

Sidicks, I get your uber enthusiasm for all things 991 GT3. but so often does come across as fanboi'sh. Just trying to help
I'll ask again - since when did 'pointing the reader towards additional information regarding the subject under discussion' become 'being 'fanboi'sh'?FFS - i even caveated the comment that it might just be internet bullst!!

Hence why I asked what addition information he had that led him to his conclusion...Edited by sidicks on Wednesday 26th August 21:14

Guys.. Get real... We will never get the full story. Remember the first GT3 catching fire? A few pictures and that's it. Magically the owners never surfaced anywhere to tell their story.. No doubt as Porsche offered some handsome compensation to keep their mouth shut.
This one has the video taken down within hours of being posted...
I adore my GT3 but this is a PR disaster once again, no matter what they try to do to minimise it. People will still buy the car of course.. And it will win prizes all over et all... But this is bad, really bad. Can't think how they could let this happen. Not even Ferrari self-combust these days..

Little early to judge guys, could be a problem but lets not get too excited. These will be used in anger, some will go bang, some will catch fire and some will land in the wall.
I am actually a little of a fanboy, have had a lot of Porsches over the years and have the RS coning as well. Am I worried, why should I be? IF they have screwed up something again, they will fix it and compensate fairly. I doubt it, but lets not get too excited because a kid throws one in the wall on the Ring and one have had some kind of problem that might have caused some kind of fire in the engine bay... Speculation crap so far I would say, little teenage girls are less girlie than you little whiners on here who loves to moan over anything.
And stop the Mezger tirade, that engine is old and was maxed out someone time ago, rightfully retired by now. Before you jump on that, I also have one of them and will keep it. Lovely track day toy but dated technology that is easily pushed over by a modern car.

Mezger not retired yet, Porsche still see fit to race it in their motorsport cars.I am actually a little of a fanboy, have had a lot of Porsches over the years and have the RS coning as well.
