What a a prize burk, some of the worst driving I've seen in a while. Like a 17 year old ragging a corsa round Harlow roundabouts to get his missus all 'tingly'. Kind of like what he does (although his hair needs a good cut, wash and blow IMO) but there is no excuse for driving like a complete plum when others are around, one thing driving around LA pre dawn, another driving with other road users. Idiot.
That made me chuckle
Yep, me too!!

Best comment on the forum this week!

He was very lucky that ramp sticking out the back of that car transporter wasn't a couple feet lower down ....... it would have been the end of him and possibly her if it had.

Dear Derek, that's rather an offensive thing to say.

Big difference between being able to build them than drive them lol.

A case of enthusiasm over talent.

Hopefully when he fixes it, he'll replace the cups mirrors with some proper ones.

He's a complete jack off behind the wheel....That, ladies and gentlemen, is a very public, first hand demonstration of where the concept of Porsche 911s being stty handling cars comes from. Not to mention that it is being driven by a narcissistic tool behind the wheel. This is not the UK

Hello Ronin, I thought of you when I saw this thread first thing this morning! I seem to remember you had footage of him driving in a rather aggressive manner around the canyons not so long ago??!

The guy is a disaster waiting to happen on the road... I can't stand the dirtbag for the way he thinks he can do anything he wants in the canyons.
I'm not alone..

Not quite sure what the photo is about. He appears to be driving on the correct side of the road.

The fact that 250m Americans drive on the other side is neither here nor there. Someone needs to set an example.

Just watched the video. I suppose a very good driver (the likes of a W. Röhrl) could have defused the situation by stabilising the rear with a good amount of throttle and aiming for the gap between the silver car and truck.

He did what 99,9% of all drivers would have done and lifted off which created the oversteer that sent him into the truck.
What's far more worrying is that this truck could have been a person, small child or a pram.

No, but classic porsche A pillars won't stand much chance against a ramp designed to take the full load of a car.

Look at the intrusion caused by the impact into the side of the truck (bottom pic).

Now imagine that same impact on the corner of the ramp in the top photo onto the A pillars - I wouldn't be betting on the survival of both occupants.

Is he running slicks in those pics?

Is that legal in the U.S.?
