Bare.with me as I'm not up to speed on modern 911S but when up at OPC Kendal three years ago having my 993 serviced they had (well I'm pretty certain it was) a 911 GTS convertible listed at £110k for £88k pre reg brand new in the showroom.

Beautiful car but I couldn't work out what you did if you had a flat as it didn't come with a wrench to remove the centre lock, only the socket, and the sales guy was stumped on that one also. Always practical me . biggrin
3 years ago would have been a 997 and it would have been a year old, find it hard to believe a 997 GTS could be £110K even for a convertible unless it had a stupendous spec and finally, if it was I find it even harder to believe it would be reduced to £88K. Are you sure it was a new car?
It will be four years in February/March, so it was early 2012. It was pre registered but still brand new as in zero miles. The spec was all there if mem serves and it was def a GTS. .... Only because I remember the GTS badge on the back. It was over 100K list as stated on the sales ticket at least, and thinking about it, it was over 80K for sure, but it may have been less than the 88K.

I thought it such a 'bargain' that I rang a mate up to see if he was interested, he was, but promptly wrote off his earlier Cab and that was the end of that.

Just out of interest. Were centre locks standard fitment on the GTS?

Update: Getting close now with Bolton. Called in Sunday, worked up the spec and had a call today with a couple of trade in quotes for the Jag. Going back Thursday for an appraisal on my car, if this works out then should be placing an order, with a possible March build date. Let's see how it goes.

So, deposit down, an indicated March build slot, a 991.2 in Night Blue Metallic will be on its way. A shout out for Alec in Bolton who was really good to deal with today. Now the wait begins...................

Got an update from the dealer, seems like the car will be built by end Feb, so could have it by mid-March Managed a test drive over the Xmas hols which confirmed to me that I'd made the right decision. It's getting closer.

What would be a realistic discount on the Voodoo blue 911 GTS at OPC Cardiff?

That looks awesome - I'd probably be looking at getting the silver bit wrapped though, looks a bit odd with the rest of the car in black smile

Really? That is the most stand-out feature of the car.

see what I done.....Gloss Black (not metallic) it's a deeper Black.......Silver Roll Hoop.....Clear lenses (kinda Silver) but the icing on the cake are the 50th anniversary wheels Black with Silver accents.....they were on back order but will be on the car this weekend....yay should look like this minus the red interior and rear lenses......so a set of matt black original wheels with Pirelli P zeros on up for sale if anyone wants them

I don't like black
I don't like the 991 targa
I am not the biggest fan of those wheels

BUT, I love that! The red brakes and interior just make it.
