Took delivery of a 991 GT3 today. Lovely car, great spec, but the previous owner seems to have had som equipment attached to the plastic at the top of the seat through which you pass the harness, and on removal this has caused a couple of unsightly damaged patches. I see that the whole part is attached with screws and can be removed from the seat. Anyone know if these are available separately? Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the car......

I would try your OPC or be here you purchased the car from, failing that contact Carnewal and see if they can help, they certainly sell complete seats not sure about parts?

Remove them and see if there's a part number or rub them down and refinish ?

Thanks for the replies. A short conversation with a more senior parts fellow at the OPC confirms that these are in fact available as spares. One is being ordered in for me as I write this.

Thanks! I know I'm being a bit of a pedant, but it's feels a shame since the car is perfect everywhere else. I owned a lovely 997 GTS PDK. I've always been a transmission Luddite but the GTS convinced me. I have a hard time imagining the GT3 will be a disappointment. Once I'm back at my computer I will post the obligatory photo. Since there's still salt and snow on the roads here, she's garaged for at least another month.

Not at al - if it's somethng you see everyday it would just spoil the experience. I'd have done the same!

The PDK-S is even better than the PDK!

No need - just give it a quick jet wash when you get home!
