Colour to Sample, when is it likely to return?

Wondering if there's anyone in the know? I have two weeks left before my Spyder spec locks and having missed out on CTS on the GT4 (by a couple of days), I'm still hopeful I may be lucky on the Spyder. Although time is quickly running out!

Am told mid-summer by OPC. I have an order in for a car that I want in PTS.

Last years cut off was around the 21st July. It was around for a month or so.

My chances of it returning in the next two weeks are minimal I think.

I would stand corrected but I think it closed about 6th July in 2015 and the window had been open for about 4 weeks.

You may be correct. I have a later date in mind but can't recall exactly. I do remember missing the cut-off by a day or two on my GT4. For almost a week I thought I'd secured Viper Green

I have spent the last 7 months believing I had secured Signal Green (Code 22S) for my RS. This week I have been told that due to an error in ordering I am getting Viper Green (Code 225).

I feel your pain - I wanted macadamia for my soon to arrive Spyder....
Settled on white , but they should relax the rules as they missed out on 3k of my hard earned...l

It's just annoying to have ordered a car last July and missed the cut off and yet again missing it 7 months later.

Macadamia would have made for an interesting choice on a Spyder. I'd have liked to see it!

macadamia or maritime or Arena. ... My intention is to keep the car forever and hand it to my son in 20 years. Maybe fit a set of Fuchs rims in the future....

I'm also white right now. I'd probably go Porsche Grey Black 7A1 with Satin Black Wheels given the choice

note that regardless of the option being available you need to have at least 4 months window prior to the production month to get CTS (PTS). The factory need that time to arrange the production schedule. on most 2016MY CTS will not be available and will be saved for 2017MY (june) production onwards. To many orders already in the system to add anymore in.

Ooops - seems pretty daft really that they have assigned two such similar codes to two similar greens as its obvious potential mistake to read a 5 as a S or vice versa.

I was lucky with PTS, the planets all aligned for me and after a 9 month wait I got it. If it's not possible at the moment, have you guys considered the GT4 side decals to make the car different? I got mine from Suncoast Porsche in the US and they are available in Black, Silver, Red and Blue. I reckon you could get some great combinations. I had a white 987 CS with Red decals and loved it.

I want the decals fitted, a full detail and protection film applied.

I have no idea in what order it should be done and by whom?
