Will Boxster wheels fit a 944?

I am just selling my Boxster 16" wheels and someone has asked if they will fit on a 944. Does anyone know?

I have just fitted 17" Boxster wheels to my 944.Check the offsets though.Mine are 48 rear and 55 front and went on no trouble.

IIRC the 944 >89 was low offset and the 944 89> was high. So if it's up to 89 you may need spacers of approx 20mm.

Cheers guys. He's bought them so hgopefully they will fit. I think he understands that spacers may be required.

second thoughts... I think the changeover was '86. I'll check when I get into work tomorrow.

1987 model year is when offsets changed on the 944

Beware when swapping wheels as the 944 will not like heavier items. It will benefit however from money invested in lighter rims.
