New battery flat today, after possibly 24hours of alarm going off.
Would a Cerb Samaritan be able to pm me the secret entrance details?
Much appreciated
Simon

No, I'm waiting till morning, and hoping I can get in and jump in a short period of time.
I think I've guessed/figured the theory out, just hoping the detail will be obvious as I go through.

Also hoping I haven't got some other issue, and it was just the alarm in the storm. I guess 24 hours would be enough to drain a new battery?
Which I just replaced a week ago, so also hoping I've done nothing stupid whilst doing that. Been perfect for a week, and never had alarm issues before.
Who can tell? That's half the fun, right?

Hope it's all sorted, it will be something stupid, generally it always is.

Boot light is common one (corroded switch). A phone taking a video can be used to check smile

Actually corroded switch will stop it coming on, not stop it going off. As you were..

Actually you may have found a nail to be hit on the head, last few days last week the boot light decided on its own whether it would illuminate. Didn't pay it much attention other than briefly fumbling for an on-off switch.

Probably wait until Saturday to commence proceedings

I'm in, not as complex as feared
Think I'll be buying a new boot switch
