I'm at a bit of a loss on how to get the phone unit working, prob. being a div ..

In the Sim slot is a credit card with a small square indent in it, my nokia/vodafone sim card is to big to fit in it, am I meant to get a specific sim card for the unit or are the adapters thata my handset sim will fit in ?

Any info appreciated

I work for telco's. All Euopean SIMs have been of standard dimensions for the past 9 years so if your is very old then ther is an issue with the SIM. You can have a new SIM coded to your Phone number (AKA MSISDN) at a good Phone Shop.

Well the card supplied will def. not fit a normal simcard, so I suspect its not the correct type. I will attempt to ask around phone shops..

There is a simple but somewhat crude method: Take a piece of tape and cover the whole in the large credit card piece. Then put your small SIM card onto the tape and slot it in. Don't forget to turn it with the right side up.
