Didn't buy it as I didn't know enough about the 996 issues as discussed above - plus I'd have had an inspection done first anyway. They do want to sell it, though.....still tempted.

I take it per your 'profile' that you are familiar with 911s and vehicles in general.....
£24K sounds great.
Surely even a majorish problem with an engine is fixable with an independent at not too much cost?
