I've found a lovely delivery miles GT4 in a colour I like but the spec sheet shows that, despite a long list of options, the 64 litre fuel tank isn't amongst them. I plan to use the car for continental jaunts so I'm keen on the big tank. Does anyone know if it is retrofittable?
Just buy a 10 litre approved fuel can, and compromise a little on the luggage Sam All said:

at 17mpg the car don't go very far with the small tank for euro trips
if you want light just half fill it :-), but the lager tank is a plus point on a car which is so dire on petrol.
Isn't the tank designed to be lighter in itself though? At 17mpg, an extra 10 litres isn't adding much.if you want light just half fill it :-), but the lager tank is a plus point on a car which is so dire on petrol.
Just seems daft to opt for a tank that's fitted to the rest of the range when a bespoke ones been made for the car - maybe we should remove the wings to reduce the drag and improve the mpg

I put the shoulder belts back trough the seat and fold the lap belts into the edges of the seats.
Yes the crotch buckle can get in the way, but in practice you only sit on it once
I keep a small one of these in my glovebox (electronic / jewellers screwdriver):Yes the crotch buckle can get in the way, but in practice you only sit on it once
There is a hole in the back of the crotch buckle. Using the screwdriver you can separate the buckle from the crotch bracket (in 3 seconds) and leave the buckle in the glovebox. The rest of the crotch strapware then slips under the seat through the slit in the base of the seat.
...at a trackday you can do the reverse to reenable the harness. Have done this will all Schroth belts I've had...never have to worry about sitting on the buckle.

But you can fit it through the the slot in the seat base without removing the buckle. Takes 2 seconds (instead of 3 ;-p )
You may save one second, but you will have a crease in the seat of the car over time. It has deviated stitching...can't let undesigned creases to interfere!

Lol. I just pull up the base (it's velcro'd on) and feed the full strap and buckle through the slot in the seat base and then through the larger a lot in the seat shell. The whole strap and buckle then sit on the floor of the car, under the seat. It has deviated stitching...can't let undesigned creases to interfere!
Anyone noticed that their LWBS squeak a little? when going down a bumpy road, its like a have a whole pride of mice in the car !
Its going to the dealer as one of the speakers is broken so I'll ask them to fix it. I think its the seat base?
Anyone?

The seatbelt return mechanism rattles a tiny bit though, something I need to pop it back in for.

Squeeky seat - Yes, I have that, although not certain it's the seat. Sounds like it's coming from an engine mount or maybe o/s rear suspension...??
I drove a friends GT4 a few months back and he has the same, only louder.
Both cars are clubsport-spec with carbon seats...

There is a Tibetan monk with some sort of bell that he occasionally hits with a scaffold pole though....
