Has anyone heard of a solid release date for this yet?

None I'm aware of. Have a LOI in so fingers are crossed.

Are people going manual or PDK? I always thought it would be the former but after two dual clutch gearboxes I actually quite like the latter too...

yes the new car will be faster and better and no PCM crap either with the nice new system lol

plus a manual choice which IS THE BIG one on a GT car

also £100k back in your pocket it's a no brainer to swap imo.

That's a difficult one. I haven't driven either, but the looks of the RS would probably make it a keeper for me. I think I'd skip the .2 GT3 and aim for the .2 RS if Porsche build one.

Wasn't there a thread running a poll of what gearbox option buyers would choose should they be fortunate enough for their numbers (LOI) to come up? If anyone knows of it could they bump it, be interesting to see the split of manual vs PDK now the PDK's been out a few years (and that it is after all a very potent and good match for the engine)...

So, the Paris motor show is when everyone thinks it will be announced....that's in late September /early October.

Can anyone guess what the list price will be? £105K?

Manual, Aero kit and engine upgrade will steal a lot of the 911R's exclusivity

I'll hopefully have an option and will buy if manual and aero ie without spolier. With spolier I'll have to think hard before I sell the GT4..
