It's a bit odd Porsche are not letting people change build slots when they want the single mass flywheel which PORSCHE cannot actually deliver. Porsche seem to have problems in the past with seats and even tins of paint that are not white or silver
Mind you they do have a huge build of 991 to do. Can't be expected to have all the parts for that amount in one go.

It'll be very interesting to see what the journos say....Porsche have said this is the ultimate road going car in the current line up. I suspect the RWS is a key part of making it that. An interesting test would be GT4/991 GTS Manual/991 R comparison. An even more interesting test would be a 997 GT3 with the suspension set up for fast road use.
....and cup or RS final drive please. Some nerdy R facts :
The 1968 911R is known for using a sticker, but Porsche found a box of parts marked "911R" and a prototype badge that looked like this one — probably made from a 911S badge with a discolored R added on — and resized it and applied it to the new 911R. That's why the "r" on the car is discoloured and why the font on the gearstick "r" is different to regular cars /
The rear-wheel steering is critical in the 911R's ability to go without a large fixed rear wing — thanks to the added stability it brings as well as adding to the nimbleness of the car .
It's the first naturally aspirated 911 to top 200mph and "runs away"from the rs and gt3 at speed even with a manual gearbox due to the less drag at high speeds .

Interesting info about the badge. 5. The manual gearbox shares its case with the seven-speed manual in the 991 Carrera, but deletes seventh gear (saving 6.6 pounds) and has lower ratios; first through fourth are close to the ratios used in the GT3's PDK gearbox, while fifth and sixth are taller. A single-mass flywheel is available for those who prefer a lighter flywheel and more noise/less refinement.

out of curiosity, how much do people think it would cost to change the gears/ratios on a normal 991 to the R ratios?Complete list here: https://www.pca.org/news/2016-03-01/12-things-you-...
Satellite can't keep pace with the 911R.
Sounds the part too.
