My post from the otherthread

So at 189.5k euros, cheaper than expected.
500hp, Ceramics, rear steer, 245/305 tyres and 1370kg - plastic windows, no aircon, no radio - not bad, sounds like a cool car

Optional single-mass flywheel. I like

They pulled the link but the google cache is still available. Other bits: does have a newly calibrated version of RWS, mechanical locking diff, front trunk and front wings are carbon fibre, magnesium roof, titanium exhaust, etc.

Like it, apart from the side strips, not sure they match with the red (why not red). Want one though, may have a shot biggrin

Just signed the contract. Interestingly enough it stated GT silver as the colour. Well, sufficient time to think about spec still

Old car has 1/3 of the screen time. Which one are they trying to present in this video?

They didn't do themselves any favours because the new one looks hideous in comparison.

Congratulations on your allocation. Did you happen to see how big the options list was ? It sounds as if PCCB etc is standard ?

Looks lovely but I'm a bit disappointed about the weight. It's what, 50kg lighter than a GT3? 20 or so of that is ditching the PDK, so they've actually shaved 30kg in reality. If Richie200 on here creating his 996R can take 200kg+ out of his 996.1 C2 and still have it everyday useable with 4 seats, I'm not quite sure what Porsche were doing frown

What was the user name change all about then? Aside from wishing to return here under the radar.
