imv you have been subjected to the full wrath of Cardiff opc for flipping your long awaited GT4 to their nemesis at Porsche Silverstone,i bet you all the staff were sniggering when you drove off in your new pride and joy;).This was obviously a pure and wanton act of deliberate sabotage out of vengeance!.Next time you call in there for a coffee ask the DP to first take a sip just in case its laced with laxatives or other ills.
I never touch the refreshments!

Yep px'd it against the GTS which is a phenomenal car.

And for 26 miles the Spyder for me was a much more fun experience than the GT4. A totally brilliant car - when you have a clutch! I'd have absolutely no hesitation in picking it over the GT4.

Terrible luck there. I wouldn't like to think how I felt if I had issues with a brand new car on the drive home. And to then have it damaged. Not good enough.

If you want a spare set of wheel for rain tyres, why not ask them for a deal to show how sorry they are ?

A ph standard reply , someone has an issue with a car , now let's see what we can screw the dealer for.

This country has gone compensation crazy ffs.

Don't know if it's just me but I can't get my head round these sort of replies.

Let's not go overboard over what was I'm sure a flippant remark - given that there are only two damaged wheels!

The silence is deafening - your issue is the first I've heard of it - if there genuinely were two others before it , he would have mentioned it before now .

In all fairness, I think I recall someone on here posting about a clutch problem on a spyder. I'm not sure what thread it was on or what the issue was. Not much help I know, but perhaps someone will remember it!

Must have missed it - I guess the point is saying this is the 3rd time it's happened isn't particularly useful on its own and if he knew nothing else , it would help to say so smile

Well let's be really practical.

If the wheels are badly damaged cosmetically, they would make a great set of spare wheels for somebody who wants to use their car.

Which may or may not be this driver.

So, smart (?) (?), please add something intelligent to the conversation ---- and I will let you off smile

I am NOT 'yer average poster.

How pissed would you be if your new car was moribund in so few miles --- irrespective of whether or not the poster can have any real idea of how she goes in the mileage done ??

Hey Chris. It was a very unfortunate start to my ownership and almost heartbreaking to see it damaged whilst being recovered!

Are you still in Whitchurch? Good to see you keeping an eye on the forum biggrin

I'm a different Chris ... but I would be really fed-up if it were me. And because I have bought a spare set of wheels for my GT4 I was suggesting a solution that could cost the dealer nothing and at least say a credibly "sorry" ...
I hope my comments came across as constructive ...
