991 GT3 RS - buy now or wait?

Same argument as the gt4, plenty of cars delivered. as mileage goes up cars will start appearing on the wrong side of £200k. Delivery miles cars sure will maintain their levels far above but flipping apart what's the point of having one?
Not sure what you mean about what's the point of having one if you're not going to flip - I think I may have misunderstood your post (apologies if I have ?) But the point IMHO is NOT to flip but to enjoy as intended . Who knows if your lucky you'll do this for quite some time and quite some mile's for virtually nothing - which is brilliant in itsself - no need to make a profit - it's a car. If you look at GT3 prices they have held pretty firm for quite some time - the RS is overpriced at the mo , but it will find its level over time as market forces dictate - my view is north of £K 200 in the medium term , but I may be wrong - it certainly won't be the first or the last time . The true question is what it is then worth in , say 3 years time , as only then will one know if it was good value or not - I'd say at that level , it will still be really good value vs the cost of depreciation on something else priced at that sort of level - depreciation is the true cost ; the price paid is somewhat irrelevant

I've seen a lot of people (relatively) looking to sell RS, even those who don't need to profit, and intended to keep it. . IMO, they are on a downward trajectory to sub £200k before long.
If you want one now, and don't care about the cash, then buy one. Otherwise, wait.
To be fair, the same goes for everything else - the bull market is looking more sheepish, if not bearish quite yet :-)

The Silver JZM car is very nice. It looks pretty aggressive with the matte look. I saw pictures of what looked to be the same car on the Romans site a few weeks back. Could it be the same car. Surely not?
Ps this popped up. 212k for a RHD. Surely not genuine!?

Looks genuine and only downside or reason for low price seems to be it doesn't have PCCBs!Ps this popped up. 212k for a RHD. Surely not genuine!?

I'm not sure whether its related to Brexit but there seems to be a price correction in progress at the moment. I was recently offered a good spec RHD car with 1k miles for £220k and I expect them to keep falling gradually (faster if the 991.2 is offered with a manual as someone else pointed out).
It's the same story on the 458 Speciale, they have been massively overpriced for a long time but that bubble has definitely now burst, the market is flooded with them and they are not selling for anything like the advertised prices. I have been informally offered one every week for the last four weeks!
OP I am in a similar situation as yourself and would love a GT3 RS (to keep long term) but have decided the sensible thing to do is to sit it out and wait for prices to fall.

The first 991 GT3 was a very good car, the new one if having a manual and perhaps even better steering then that might indeed lower RS prices as it might be good enough at the price point. But then that might have large amounts added on top???
I don't think there is any harm waiting though, RS will not be going up, so it is only time lost in the car by waiting.
